Batman Arkham City Review

It is finally here. As the highly anticipated sequel to the highest rated superhero game ever, Batman Arkham City has had a lot of hype to live up to. Rocksteady went for broke by adding more content and layers of complexity to every aspect of the first game. Does this strategy pay off or is this a case of less being more?

5 Scary Games to play for Halloween

It’s that wonderful time of year again when there’s a certain magic in the air.  By magic of course I’m referring to the dark, sinister, and forbidden variety. There’s none of that romantic fluff to be found in any of these games.

AYCG Podcast Episode #64: Arkham City Edition

OH Yeah! Arkham City is finally here and Jim and Mike have both got their hands on it, and tell you all about how amazing it is!!  Batman wasn’t the only thing that happened this week (even though it may feel that way), we heard that Michael Bay may still be directing the next Transformers movies.  Yes I said that correctly “movies” meaning two, and they will be done back to back.  Also, Halo gets Kinect(ed), the next Superman game may not suck, seems like everything is getting an online pass, and XBLA is getting some pretty awesome games very soon. Plus much much more!

NBA 2K12 Review

The NBA season may be locked out indefinitely but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get your ball on in the virtual world. NBA 2K12 is the follow up to one of the best rated and received sports games ever made. Does it deliver in the clutch or choke like the Heat in a close game?

Review: Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Deus Ex: Human Revolution may have been released over a month ago but due to its recent DLC expansion and the fact that it is arguably the first of the big fall video game releases, I think it is worth a review. Also, I only recently finally beat it. Is this new installment in a venerated yet uneven franchise truly revolutionary? Read on to find out…
